Sichuan Food in Chengdu is so spicy. The Chinese food here in Sichuan is different from the rest of the country. Here, the food in Chengdu is much spicier and uses a lot of Sichuan peppercorns as well. Join me as I sample 7 nice dishes at a communist restaurant in Chengdu!

This restaurant name is 人民食堂 "Renmin shitang", which means People's cafeteria, and is all in old Chinese communist style interior. It's a true sight to see. The servers are all wearing old Chinese communism uniforms and the food was delicious to say the least!
